Melrose Park

Dude

New member
I take Fridays off in the spring and fall searching small towns and parks to hunt. I found a little town called Melrose, Ohio in Paulding county. It's on St Rt 613 and the park is on the east end of town, you could miss it if your not looking for it.
It's a long drive for me to get to and I've hunted it several times. It's a well seeded park, lots of clad, with quarters to boot, some silver and rings. There's plenty left.
I'm giving it up partly because of the long drive, plus I've found another honey hole thats right in my backyard. I never even knew the small burg existed. It has a very well kept park with older equipment and trees. Every swing was a hit.
So if your near Melrose Ohio stop in and give a swing.

That looks like about a two hour drive from me,may have to check it out. were you driving in from Indiana?

I see it! Right off of Franklin st...maybe a 2hr drive for me too...I'll beat Blade to it and clean it out, but then toss out a handfull of rotten zincs so he will have something to find! Just kidding! lots of those little no account old towns all over the place, might make for a good cannonball run someday!..Thanks for the heads up!
