Memorial Day...

Howdy--
It's been a while since I've posted any finds. The reason for that is that I am on dialysis -4 days a week for about 13 - 14 hours each time. I'm still trying to live a "normal " life by still delivering Meals on Wheels and volunteering for Hospice. Recently my volunteer coordinater at Hospice moved to a 1950's house and gave me permission to detect it. Well, despite triple digit heat here in west Texas, I thought I'd give it a try. My strategy was to hunt for 10 minuets and rest and hydrate myself for 15 minuets. My strategy worked - was able to hunt for about 2 hours. Unfortunately, I saw the tell tail signs of the lot being previously hunted. All that my V3i and I could dig were these copper memorials. There is an interesting one though. It looks like a 1967-D BUT they didn't mint 1967 cents in Denver that year. I'm thinking that it's a mint error from either 1963-D, 1968-D or 1969-D. In any event, It sure was good to swing the coil for a while! Best of luck and...
Happy Hunting!
