Jumping from penny to dime.In the same hole,,,first was a .22 shell casing ,then a small pc of rusty nail. Figured that was it ,but decided to check the hole B4 I buried it and there it was.1936 merc.
The wind was blowing hard and cold.
Also found 2 wheats and a ancore pin.

As the temps get colder and the winds stronger. Any keeper find seems to mean more. Hats off to the guys that hunt in the real cold weather.
Mid 40's don't seem too bad but the 10-20 mph wind was an issue,I had to get into the truck and warm up.All about the fingers,they was not working well. Cheap jersey gloves.

I see the forcast for next week in MI ,,,is in the 50's.
