Metal Detectors Winter Lament

Floating and falling
Through winter air
Snowflakes gathering
Together in pairs
The ground once green
Is now pearly white
Undeniably beautiful
Undeniably bright
In the face of such beauty
Why do spirits fade
We sigh and gaze
As winter invades
Oh for the grass
To grow in a spurt
Oh snow, don

Good poem, but gotta wait until :detecting: season starts again.....In the meantime I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy and blessed New Year! May God Bless with an early Spring! Amen! Ma Betty

Gosh your going to make me blush

Very good! BUT in some places there is ALL year around metal detecting. In the south half of Arizona it is about +70' F and in Hawaii it is about +80' F in the winter. Also in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, Texas---Miami and Orlando, Florida---& Los Angelos and San Diego, CA as well!

You are right David, but even the South is suffering from cold weather, even some cities in Florida....but I don't think it is as cold there as in Michigan and other Northern states! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
