Anyone watch the new series last night called "The Meteor Men" ??? It was pretty good. They used several metal detectors in the mid-west to find meteorites they valued at $100,000 or more each. I think I'll start looking at those "hot rocks" I find in streams a little more closely. You betcha

Silversmith, interesting program. It looked like the giant PVC coil held together with duct tape they towed behind the pickup was hooked up to the Minelab GP unit, which they later used along with the Fisher 1266X to pinpoint.I think the location was Kansas the film crew had to sign a wavier for the location not to give it away. The farmer got half of one of the finds, who tagged along and observed the recovery.
