meteorite Settings

IMO try 0 disc either 12 or 18hhz. So you could find a gold nugget as well as a meteorite. Hope your area for searching doesn't have much iron or trash. You could run the tiniest bit of disc but risk missing some meteorites. All metal is the way to go. You may want to try running the non motion AM mode on deus. You ask a good question. Plus deus is fast enough and light enough to really cover the real estate with 11" coil.
 
I did some reading and it seems goldfield program is the one used most by those who have done this so I will try that as well......

That's the one I would use Jim---the Goldfield program, you don't want any disc.----Friend of mine found three of them somewhere outside of Phoenix using a Tesoro.------If he can do it--we can do it with this great little Deus!:thumbup:

I used Goldfield today to clean out a new area for a test garden. It runs in 18 khz and will hit anything even remotely associated with metal! It was able to hit some of the tiniest bits of rusty whatsits that the other programs didn't see so well!
