METEORITE !!!!

Wasn't sure where to post this so I selected this forum...

Found this last week in a farm pasture..2 feet down..hard digging...any idea what type it is ???
 
Hi, If it is an iron meteorite, then it should be very heavy for its size. When sliced with a diamond blade and polished, it should be very steel looking inside and have patterns that look kind of like long fibers and triangles of sorts. I believe iron meteorites generally sell for about $100.00 a pound, but some rarer varieties sell for much more. Maybe someone with more knowledge can give you more info. Is it magnetic & does it appear to be rusting on the surface?? Hopefully it is a meteorite but Hemotite & Magnatite rocks (iron ore) can have the same characteristics.
