meteorites

Hi!
can anybody give me some help choosing the right type of metal detector for meteorite hunting?
I'm going to the northernmost part of Sweden, trying to find meteorites in an area previosly known for some finds. The meteorites are of Fe-Ni type (Octahedrite IV A). Sizes between .3 kg and 10 kg. They are buried in moraine (sometimes mineralized) at depths beteeen 0,5 and 2 meters. Is a P I machine the right choise for me?

Does the area have a lot of magnetite? (I'm thinking of the Kiruna iron mine.) Where there is a lot of magnetite, pulse induction metal detectors usually outperform VLF. The size and depth of the meteorites you describe, would also favor PI over VLF.
