MI6 pinpointer battery problems

My MI6 pinpointer battery Is dead every morning when I charge overnight.
XP had me email detector USA. They said $20 to fix and shipping both ways. That's ridiculous. Probably cost another $60 it lasted 4 months. I have 7 year old Garrets that still work. Not happy.

My MI6 is only a year old and it will sometimes not turn on fully charged go hit the button and nothing plug it in it will turn right back on and work fine?!!
Frustrating to say the least!

What about the dealer you purchased it from? Would they replace it under warranty?
