Michael, Farrah, and Billy...

We need to pray for the families of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawsett, and Billy Mays. Even though these three people had millions upon millions of dollars, as far as I know they did not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. One second they are worldly rich, the next second they are in eternity somewhere. Very few of the rich and famous put Christ first in their life. I lived near many famous people when I lived in North Jersey, and believe me, they did not want much to do with true religion. Not judging, just saying we need to pray for these people.

May the Lord comfort the families in their sorrows of losing loved ones! If I'm not mistaken, I think Farrah Fawcett was saved but not sure....I may be getting her mixed up with another movie star who is! Only God knows for sure who are His and who aren't! Just heard today that Michael Jackson only weighed 112 pounds and was on 8 different drugs....he was anirexic? Elvis Presley died from too many drugs also! So singers and movie stars don't have it very easy being on the go all the time and having to make a good appearance! Money isn't everything, but enjoying life and what you do in Jesus Christ is!! Amen! God Bless! Betty

Good Morning DK & Fellow Seekers,

Yes only the Lord knows who, of those who have passed before us, are saved. Therefore, if we are to pray, let us pray for those who remain and still have an opportunity to come to know Jesus, as Lord & Savior of their lives. For those who have passed, their fate is sealed because they can no longer make a decision to follow Christ. This is why it's so important we follow the Lord in the hear and now. And too we must pray for those, within our families, who have a knowledge of God but who haven't accepted Jesus into their lives. God knows I have two brothers, Michael & Timothy, & they once knew the Lord but have walked away from Him over hurts in their lives they blame Him for rather than blame themselves for their own actions and or lack of them. The old adage that we can lead a horse to water but cannot make them drink holds true, with those who don't feel a need to accept Christ into their lives, for fear they will be giving up something in this life. Some view life with Jesus as boring and limiting. If only they truly knew and understood the truth. Anyone that says they don't believe in the devil and that there's no such individual is fooling themselves and has believed the lie Jesus so often talked about. Believe me ... he is alive and well and is going to take every soul to hell with him he can, in the end. It's our job to see that he don't!
