Michigan Metal Detecting River Hunt 1st Silver Coin of 2011

Hi everyone, i went out to a different location of the Huron river and spent 1.5 hours detecting for the evening. The outcome was a little better this time, i did manage to dig six wheats and dug my first silver coin of 2011 Thanks for watching and best of luck on your next hunt. Happy Hunting ! Dave

Hey dig it's a Michigan thing. Crunch enjoyed the video, it's great to see a fellow Michigander able to get out in this white junk. Myself I'm waiting for the ice to go if I can bust it up with my waders on and get out I will it's been to long. It'll be a while yet here in the U.P. we've still got sleds going across the ice here.

Get a pair of trappers gloves, put on some nice wool gloves with the trapper gloves over them. Will definitely help keep your hands warmer.

Thank you for watching, I'm sure you have a ton of snow still, we just had another 4 inches tonight, so it puts a tamper on the land detecting.
I hope you can get out detecting soon, maybe one of them sleds can take you over to some dry land to swing the coil..lol HH
