Might be getting a Safari & Explorer SE Pro

I would like to talk about the Explorer SE Pro, Likes????? Dislikes??? I have heard a lot of Bad and Good just don't know what to believe???
Also any comments on the Safari would be help full too!
All your input is welcome
Thanks, Ron

If you get the SEPro, you probably don't need the Safari... Just Sayin'. One is like a Jr. edition of the other. Both are good machines, though.

I've had a Explorer XS for 10 years and upgraded to the SE Pro last week.It is an awesome machine with a very hot coil.Only thing different is the pinpointing which takes a little to get used to_Once you get to know the learning curve of the Se Pro I'm sure you'll love it.Good Luck and if you need help ask questions. There are a lot of knowledgable people more than willing to help...

Thanks Kenny Ray. I actually would like to ask Bryce Brown, a few questions if any one knows how to contact him, or please get him the message for me!
Thanks.

Its a great all round machine. Does a good job on the beach transitioning well from the dry to wet sand. Its a deep relic and coin machine and a killer on silver... they just sound really good down there. You have a lot of options in the way you hunt it. With Cond and Ferr sounds you can hunt with it based on targets in the ground. Its not very well ballanced which makes it feel heavier than it is. The processor maybe slower than you are used to.. but all the Explorers are. The good side of that is it makes you slow your swing and work it properly. It doesnt really like a lot of space between the coil and soil. Noise cancel does a pretty good job on most EMI. You kind of have to open it up or you will find it hangs an nulls on iron. Thats one of the big complaints until you learn the machine. TID on this machine is really good on deep targets... you get some bounce, but you get that on most machines. Its not the best machine on gold... but loves copper and silver. It takes very little motion to make this machine operate properly. Seems to have a great GB system... but like any machine you should GB on occasion.
