apparently Microsoft has a program e-courses for online study of their products...MS Office, Power Point, Access, Excel, and other programs. Well, these course cost $$$. MichiganWorks let me know about the program today. Completing the courses of course would give me a 'certification' from Microsoft. Better part is there are vouchers they gave me so I can enroll in these classes...and with the vouchers the courses are free. Unfortunate part is this program dries up April 7th....so anyone wanting to get into this contact MichiganWorks and ask about Elevate America. Once enrolled one has a year to complete the studies and then takes an exam. So get in now if you can before it dries up. I got the last 2 vouchers they are giving out here in Roscommon County...the remaining vouchers are being sent downstate probably to the main office of MichiganWorks in Lansing.

I will be looking into this in a few minutes to see what I can enroll in and do..and not even have to leave home to do it. I always did want to know more about Power Point so I could make slides and such for church. Figure what the hey, its free, I can get smarter and help the church using Power Point (and the other programs) and get a certificate to add to my resume. Thank you God for providing me with this opportunity.

That is good news, Pete! May God Bless you in all that you need and do, for a good paying job in a really nice place to work! Amen! None of us are too old to learn something new and ya can teach an old dog new tricks, as I've learned and am learning how to use the Computer and that isn't so easy for a much older person out of school for more years than I want to count!
