Military Model Minelab?

Anyone know anyhting about the military model from Minelab? Does it have any exceptional features or performance? Just wondering if it is superior to commercail models, if they eventually be available to public. I know this is not necessarily Etrac related, but it may be if the military model is an Etrac. The military equipment is for demining and finding IED's. Not quite the same stuff we're looking for......

You would not want to use it, It's a little on the heave side and doesnt get the deep sliver you want.

It's so far removed from hobby detectors as to be a totally different beast. It just happens to use SOME of the same technology. I'm going into any details because I don't know how much is still classified, but I would love to have one!

Everything you wanted to know about a MineLab mine detector:

From what I hear its similar technology but not the same....in any case....you can bet... its a lot more expensive!
