Military shell casings.

Forgive me if I haven't read far enough in past posts to see this but I hunt a lot on national guard camp property and have done quite well on the silver in the past. However the area is littered with spent shell casings. I know if I picked all these up and cashed them in for scrap I would have enough money to buy a SEF coil no problem:super: Has anyone ever come across a lot of spent brass and do you null them out. If I try this will it restrict me from making some good finds. OK, on the DFX I used to have these casings showed up on the VDI scale as 43-45, that's above the nickel range but lower than the copper penny range. I would like your opinion on how will that equate on the ETrac? If I null these out what will I be missing as far as good finds. BTW these are all solid brass.
