I see that your prices are about the same as Kellyco and living in Washington state I don't see much of an advantage buying from you other than the fact that you are closer than Kellyco and delivery time might be a little faster through you.

Eddie....there are several reasons to buy from Treasure Hut. Free shipping to the Continental US, expert advice from very experienced metal detectorists, follow-up and training, as well as a desire to provide customer service second to none, and earn your business. Thank you for your post.

Chuck,

Your so right. !@#$!)(*%co and so many others just don't or won't take the time to service, teach the finer points etc. Tough to put a price on that one.

An informative dealer, geographically close, is very competitive.

Recently, I received a phone call from a person that had combed the internet looking for what detector (his first) might best suit his needs. Actually came up with a very good choice. Called !#$)"%_)%
* who managed to change his mind in 30 seconds to the WRONG Detector.... When he received the WRONG detectors and realized they would not pick up what he was interested in, he ended up sending the two detectors back for the original model he wanted.... Cost him another $100.00 because of the mistake.

Hello Greg.....sounds like you and I are on the same frequency, and have about the same amount of detecting experience. What is the saying, "experience is the best teacher"? I find that a little question/answer period with a prospective customer, even those with a fair amount of experience, can remove most potential, future problems and consequently make for a happy customer, one who will refer others my way. I started detecting back in 1973, with an old "JET" BFO,, and from there to Bounty Hunter, Compass, Whites, Fisher, Garrett, Tesoro, and Minelab. I find that while most of the latter are similar (Minelab excluded and with a little more of a learning curve), one's success with which ever he chooses, is totally dependent on learning that machine's language. I teach my new customers, to put at least 90% of their dig decision weight on listening to the audio, and then confirming with the target ID. When he is in tune with the audio, the sky is blue, and the sun is shining! Thanks for your input, good hunting, and good luck.
