Minelab Detector Bag

Jim D

New member
Do you have to take the Explorer SE Pro apart to get it to fit inside the blue and red Minelab Detector bag?
I want to buy one but I,d like to keep the detector together.
I,d would appreciate any comments on this.
Thanks; Jim D

You might have to slide the lower rod up a little depending how long you have it set, but it fits nicely in the bag assembled.

I have the E-Trac and it fits in the bag by just loosing up the camlock and sliding it up.

What I do with my SE is slide the rod in and fold the coil back. Another nice feature is the velcro strap thats attached to the bottom of the bag that enables the detector to be secured tightly in the bag. There's also a side bag that will easily hold an 8" coil.

I do the same with my Sovereign to fit it in. It is a decent bag, but the zipper is already breaking after only 3 months. I think a more robust zipper is necessary.

Thanks guys for the info.....,I received one from Backwoods Detector Sales today and my Explorer Pro fits just fine.
Regards Jim D
