Minelab doing extremely well financially!

Unlike privately held metal detector companies Codan is a publicly traded company on the ASX (Australian Securities Exchange) with symbol "CDA".

In December Minelab landed a big contract to supply 3,000 land mine detectors to the government of India to the tune of $5.5 million USD.

Let's see... Advanced Humanitarian De-mining detectors selling for a bit over $1800.00 ea and Nugget machines selling for just under 5K a pop.
Certainly bidding on and getting a contract requires some pencil sharpening but I can't understand that big a difference in price. Perhaps it's those gold prices. :lol:
