I have an excal 1000 for sale.
I used it on the Oregon coast for a few years and it has been a great machine. But now I live in Missouri and haven't used it in 2 years so I might as well part with it.... Asking 650.00 OBO ... .
(a new excal is well over a grand.)
Payment by USPS money order and I will pay shipping within the continental USA.

Here's the details on this machine:
It works great... Usable right now....
I bought this in april 1999.... I used it until early 2004.
Minelab service put a new 1000 coil on it sometime around late 1999...
it has a long cord and I never did modify it to the magical 54" length.
that maybe something you will want to.
The unit is on a home made straight shaft.... and like all excals... it's heavy.
It has some wear on the decals and minor scratches.
Battery is old but worked fine last time I used it.
The minelab red headphones were crap from the beginning and have been repaired a few times.
The tangs broke off and have been replaced with stainless screws which is much better than the original.
Then the wires pulled out of one of the ear pieces. I got mad and hacksawed it open and repaired them, resealed the speaker, and they are still working fine but you can see the repair in the pic. It is shown "open" but the red casing will be glued in place. It is water safe and has been used under water since the repair.
The unit has never leaked and works fine.... usable right now... BUT... you may want to consider sending it in for service before doing any serious deep diving with it.
Maybe get the headphones replaced and a new battery pack.
Here's some pics and thanks for looking...
PM me if interested.....
