I located a Minelab Excalibur 1000 for sale, the add states it is unused $600.00 is this a good deal? This one is blue, I looked it up on-line the current model looks a little different appears to be green and is an explorer 2. Are they comparable?

Hi detectin4fun,
A new excalibur 800 is 1,650 Aussie dollars hear in Australia, so I gues 600 US dollars ( AU 900)is pretty good if it is new and un used The 1000 just means 10 inch coil 800 is 8 inch coil..

Sorry about the question being on the wrong forum, I placed it here by mistake and do not know how to remove it. I re-posted on the mine lab forum. Thanks for the info on the difference between the 800 and 1000.
