General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I have an Explorer II with a NiMH battery, charger, alkaline battery pack, coil cover, and control box cover. Machine is in outstanding condition. It has done me proud many times and has been babied from day one. The coil has never touched the ground. The coil cover has some light scratches on the bottom but even that looks great. The rest of the machine is perfect. I have made many great finds with this machine and am ready to try the Explorer SE. I have an Excal and a CZ-70 as well, so not interested in any trades. I want the cash to put toward my new machine. I'm willing to let this one go for $615 shipped if I get paid with Paypal and $625 if you want to send me a check or money order. If I don't hear something quick it will go on eBay.

I doubt you would find a better deal than this on an Explorer II in this shape. I have posted many a find over on the Explorer forum from this machine and am a regular on the Beach and Water forum with my Excal. Many folks can vouch for me. If you want more, here is my eBay feedback:

Hi Mike, if you still have it after I sell my little boat & 2 hp honda I'll take it off your hands...But don't wait because it's been on craigslist for over a week...By the way, since you're in the Tidewater area, I used to detect with my ex-father in law...I doubt he's still around...Freddie Deans...Also ex bro& sister in law bobby & debbie scott...they used to hunt the beach all the time...found some really good stuff
 
Hey Tom,

I've received a PM from RedRockNvDFX saying that he was going to buy it and Paypal me when he gets home tonight. I'm assuming for the time being that it's sold, as I haven't heard anything else. I will put a "SOLD" sign on it later if that's the case and take any other interest in the order it was received if that's not the case.

I've not met any of your family but I've only been doing this since about 2000, so that may be why.

Hey Mike...They are ex-family but good people in case you run into them...I see RedRock bought your Exp...He's a good guy to deal with...I think I'd be better off just getting a new SE anyway...I'm sure that's what I'm gonna end up with & might as well start learning with the one I'm gonna be useing....Thanks for the reply...Tom
