New member
Hello
i have been detecting for two years but is new to the minelab explorer se.
i need anyone out there who has a list of the numbers that correlate to coins and jewelry
for the digital numbers on the se to send a copy to me and save my sanity.
thank you

Go to WWW.findmall.com/read.php?10,922673 Magicman posted them some time ago. Right now while you are new id learn the tones and smartscreen. The digital numbers might be ok to check a target with, but way to jumpy to hunt with any reliability. Most of the good coins will hit in the upper right QUARTER of the screen. You can run some clad coins over your coil and get used to the tones. Silver will position a little different ... but not much. Try borrowing some older coins from a friend or get some CHEAP ones from a deal with no dates. As far as jewelry.... well silver is easy it hits in that upper quarter as well, but gold is all over the place. Most that i find is from foil to just above the nickel. There is a program for jewelry in the machine.... take a look at where it says jewelry falls. Its pretty close. There isnt a lot of shortcuts to good finds. You are going to have to DIG and learn what targets sound like shallow and deep. Once you learn the tones.... its location location.
