I'm floating this out here to see if there's any interest. If not, I may go to eBay..or not...I may just keep it all. But like many of us, I have more than one detector and am "jonesing" for something new. I have an Excalibur I use for the beach and that will always be my #1 for the beach, having paid for itself at least 10 times over in the last few years. I have a Fisher CZ-70 as my backup machine which has a lifetime warranty, so that goes without saying that I will keep THAT. That leaves my Explorer SE as my "collateral" for my new machine, whatever that may be.
Let me tell you about it. It will be a year old next month and is in MINT condition. I've hunted many times with it (and posted a LOT of stuff on the Explorer forum that I found with it) but I'm very anal about my machines and take REAL good care of them, so there's nary a scratch on it. It works perfectly and I have found many nice coins, bullets, buttons, etc. with it. I have a nice padded Minelab case for it. It has the stock Slimline FBS 10.5" coil that it came with, with coil cover. I have the Excelerator 4.5 x 7" coil for working those trashy old home sites, playgrounds, and any other place where target separation is a must but more coverage than a small round coil is desired...OUTSTANDING COIL. And I also have the Excelerator 6" DD coil, for those really tight spots, where max separation but with still decent depth is desired. And the I have the Excelerator 10" x 14" elliptical coil for it, for those "wide open" spots where coverage is key. Great for the fields, woods, the beach, or any place where you want max depth and a wide "swath" with max coverage per swing. I also have an extra lower shaft, so swapping coils is a breeze. On top of all that, I also have TWO NiMH rechargeable battery packs for this SE...the stock 1600ma battery AND the "upgrade" 1800ma pack, PLUS the standard wall charger, AND a car charger. QUITE the package, yes???
Without even talking about the "suggested retail" price of all this stuff into account (which would probably be something like $3000 or more) the ACTUAL REAL PRICE if you get a good deal is over $1800 for the detector and coils alone. Add in the rest and I think it's safe to say we have WAY OVER a $2000 value here. Now this machine IS in perfect condition. But I realize there is also the fact that the warranty won't transfer. And there's depreciation, even if it is mint. So what I'm willing to take for it is $1200. If anybody is interested, let me know. I've been on these forums for years and many have dealt with me so ask them if you like. If you would like to see my eBay feedbacks I have been the "seller" on many of the auctions I've been involved in and you can look here:

I doubt you will ever find a better deal on an Explorer package than this. I'm NOT interested in any trades EXCEPT I MIGHT be interested in a Minelab Sovereign GT package but it would have to be MINT and it would have to include a meter, small coil, the stock 10" coil, AND a 12.5" as well and it would have to be AS NEW. Then I might. I will be glad to take a few pics of it all there is any interest but be assured, it's all in perfect condition.
