:minelab: Finds Gold and Silver tonight...

Pete in MI

New member
Went to the ball field and found 3 more wheaties, a metal button that looks like a Moon hubcap (for those who recall those), a lower section of a Colgate lip stick container, cigarette lighter and best of all got my first gold with the Minelab and more silver.

(Pardon the picture of all the finds, not sure why my camera is being finicky today).

The locket is 10K Gold on Sterling:

Knew there had to be some gold out there somewhere :)

The lighter was made by...nope not Zippo. It was Reliance (made in Japan).

Sure is a good feeling finding gold! :)

Behind the house - by the pines - between the school and the field.

Nice finds Pete!! The locket looks very similar to one I found a few years back but mine wasn't stamped anywhere I could see. I need to take another look at it. You're doing pretty good water hunting. Looking forward to seeing more of your finds!!

the locket came out of an area between an old school and the school's baseball field. Didn't get to finish checking that area so there may be still more there.

BTW Sherry is feeling better...at least now I am not worried she might split like a ripe water melon at any second...takes a lot of stress off.
