Welcome to the CTX 3030 Resource Forum. The CTX 3030 Resource Forum is intended to be a "learning tool" for those seriously interested in maximizing the performance of their new detector. We're going to try a new format with this forum...... there are several sticky posts that will stay toward the top portion of the forum. These posts can be thought of as "boards" for specific types of posts. In addition to this Guideline "board", we have set up a board for sharing Search mode programs "DOWNLOADABLE CTX 3030 Search Mode Programs" with instructions on how to download to your detector and share your programs with others, a board for sharing Videos, a board for sharing CTX 3030 Programs and settings with screen shots, a board for comparing various functions (user testing) of the CTX 3030, a board for Frequently Asked Questions and the lower portion of the page where you can make your initial posts. Depending on the content of and information placed in those posts, they may be inserted into one of the "boards" for ease of access and sharing with others.
If you have specific questions or comments about functionality or programming, please post those comments in the main CTX 3030 Forum by clicking "Post New Message".
If you have a special Search mode or settings that work well, you are welcome to share them here, for others to download. Take a look at "DOWNLOADABLE CTX 3030 Search Mode Programs" for further information on how to download, or share, your CTX 3030 programs.
If you have made comparitive tests using different combinations of the functionality, make a "Post New Message" explaining what functionality you used and your analysis of the results. And again, send a message to one of the moderators if you'd like to have that information at a permanent location at the
"Sample" Programs using XChange2. If your testing process can be validated and your explanation is thorough, the Moderators can make it permanent for you to share with others.
If you have suggestions for other topics or "stickys", please send a message to one of the Moderators. It is not the intent of this Resource Forum to take the place of your regular CTX3030 forum. But instead, we want to offer one centralized place to provide learning tools to those wanting to improve their use of the CTX 3030. By learning the various functionality of the CTX 3030, our objective is to help you learn how to "fine tune" your detector for your sites and your style of hunting.
