Personally I feel this is a good deal for those shopping for these items, on the other hand I feel these items are overstock and need to be liquidated in order to move in new stock. I may be wroung Minelab may have a big heart and wish a merry x mas for those wanting one, but I hardly feel so.

It's nice that a company can have special deals from time to time, but I have to agree that KellyCo maybe getting rid of their old inventory possibly because Minelab may have a new detector in the works and it's not being known to us. It happened when I bought my XS and it wasn't very long after I bought it that Minelab came out with the Explorer II. I called Minelab and came right out and asked them if Minelab indeed has a new detector coming out and I was told that not as long as they new. Heh, I'm all for something newer coming out to make our hobby even more productive, but a new machine in the works or possibly coming out soon would be nice to know for the consumer, but then again if they told us that then their sales on older models would not be as good. Just my two cents worth.
