I was thinking about getting a GT but some members in our club is saying they heard Minelab say they will stop repairing the GT soon is anybody else hearing this if so i may try to get a different detector.

minelab owners state minelab may stop repairing GT

Are you talking Sov GT??? If so, thats not quit true. I talked to Keith up at Ft Bedford...... ML repairs, he said they have stopped production of Sov parts...... but that there were a LOT of parts for this machine and service will continue as long as they have parts just like any discontinued machines....... even the Explorer. That could be years down the road.

The chance of it failing is slim anyway , the thought of it failing is no reason not to buy.. I have detectors that are 35 + years old and working great and will out live me i am sad to say!
