I've seen a few threads on Findmall (main detecting forum) and elsewhere where at least a few guys say they aren't getting as good of depth with it as they are the Pro Pointer, so I don't know what to believe yet. We need some videos of it and the Pro Pointer being tested like this. One thing though, the test needs done outside away from EMI as the Pro Pointer Auto Tunes and might set lower in the house. I know mine doesn't seem to get the same depth in the house as it does outside. Also, it might be that one or the other gets more depth in the ground needing a ground load.

If your cars gas tank is sitting on 50%, is it half full or half empty? Anyway I hunted with it this morning, I'm really impressed. Quite a few times after I had dug a hole and had not reached the target yet depth wise. It started the single chirp saying I was getting there. Dug some more and then got a more escalated chirping. Then finally got within an inch or so and it was chirping faster like it does in the video. One thing to mention, the buttons feel like they are very well made. Just depress slightly and it's on. I like it.
