Hi all. I am about to purchase my first detector. I have always rented them in the past. I was lookinh at the Fisher CZ Pro and the Minelab Quattro. I was even thinkign about the Minelab Explorer, but would I would like to stay within my budget of about $600-850.00. I have heard great things about the Fishers and Minelabs, but I liked that the Minelab has an automatic ground balancing on it, so I don't have to monkey around with the ground balancing as I Move into other areas. I realize there's a learning curve to the Minelabs but I don't mind taking the time to learn the machine well. I was just wondering what people think about these two machines and their performance? Thank-you. Sincerely, Randy Jellen ***I meant to say that I will mostly be hunting in "all-metal mode," since I dig "everything" anyways. And I'll be mostly in large open farm fields up in Wisconsin.
