Minelab rain/dust cover

Does the sunray (or other brand x)rain/dust cover fit better than the Minelab cover? I do not have a problem getting it on or off, but the clear plastic on the front keeps distorting and I cannot read the meter through it.
I have thought about going to the office supply store and getting some of the generic screen protectors. The kind that you cut to custom fit.
Anyone have any suggestions for a fix?

The best thing to do is either live with the Glare and have the Cover on all the time or only have the Rain Cover on when there is a chance of Showers. You can put the protective screen protectors on the display so it will prevent the display from receiving scratches when being used. I have done this but now I just have gotten use to having the Glare from the Rain Cover and if you can keep the Cover tight enough, it will not effect the Display too much unless the Sun is directly above you, then it will be a bit more difficult to see and then you will have to tilt the Display to see it better.
