torx bit video shows a minelab cover on a e-trac .....wonder if a tailor modified the minelab cover?

the minelab 800 I recieved today would hit my 20 year coke rock sample where as the pro coil would not....not a problem really but i

find all of it very interesting to say the least as i test more coils I will post some results..

and noticed that his machine had a Minelab control box cover on it too. I thought to myself that the cover looked like it had been cut or modified :)It didn't look like it was form fitted at the bottom :shrug:
 
The Minelab cover fits.

I tried an E-trac at my local dealer last week and the Minelab cover was on it.

It may be a close fit but it sure fitted and didnt disturb the buttons..
 
It takes a bit of stretching on but yes it does fit very snugly once on and no cutting is required, only problem is it increases the glare factor.

That raincover definitely increases the glare factor, I agree.
