Minelab Service ???

SWMO Mark

New member
Just sent off my Safari to have it fixed. It is stuck in the overload screen. Tried to get the lady I talked to, to connect me with one of their technicians. She said that wasnt allowed !! I was hopeing the tech. might be able to help me fix the problem over the phone instead of haveing to send it in. It is supposed to get to them on Mon. So I guess I will see if they have improved their customer service or not. I will let you know on how they treat me. Mark

Other people are having problems with their Minelabs.

Refer to: Minelab Explorer Forum with: Swmo Marcus, Eddie in Poulsbo, minelab Macus

Mark .... I would gladly buy another Minelab but after reading about all of the issues
with the service ...... I sold mine.

Luckily .... I never had a problem but in the back of my mind I always said .... gee
I hope that I never need to send the unit in for repair.

I sure hope they will remedy your situation in a timely manner. If I get another
Minelab .... I will buy from a dealer that would be located close to Chicago where
they will have their new service center. That should help put the odds in my
favor in case something happened.

The Safari is a great machine .... I just think you had a steak of bad luck!

I wish you all the best!!
