I just watched the X-Terra DVD that I got from Minelab and it seems to be a very good detector, but just like all of the Minelab detectors or any other brand detector for that matter, when it comes to discriminating out certain unwanted junk targets, even the the guys on the DVD say that if you discriminate out certain targets you are going to miss some gold items. I guess the bottom line is nobody has come up with a detector that will tell you just exactly what your target is and be accurate 100% of the time. Until somebody does make a detector that has x-ray vision and be 100% accurate telling you just what your target is for certain, I will continue to do what my buddy Lee told me when he got me into metal detecting, "if it beeps dig it". HH.
