Minelab XT coils

They also use 20 and 60 Kz . Any of the XT detectors should work with the others. I own and use a XT18000

I own a XT17000 and its 6 & 32 khz,so it might work on the 6khz but not the other freq.,same as if I tried the coil from my xt17000 and tried to use it on a xt18000 which is 6,20 & 64khz,maybe it'll work in the 6khz but not the others,so just because it might work on 1 freq. doesn't really mean they work on each other.Being able to choose different freq's.was a main feature on these detectors.I need to know what I think is right or wrong about those coils being interchangable(all frequincies working)

........the coil from the XT 17000 would only work at 6.4 KHZ on the XT 18000....the XT 17000 coil is only calibrated for 6.4 and 32.5 KHZ....so on the other frequencies on the XT18000 which are the 20 and 64 would not work if the coils was from an XT 17000......

Does any know for sure if a coil from a MinelabXT17000 would work on a XT18000 or Eureka Gold?

Here's a couple of links directly from Minelabs web site.
