Minelab's X-Terra 705 & their treasure tracking app, perfect match

Minelab's X-Terra 705 and the smart phone treasure tracking app is improving my finds, the gps works great and the picture helps me zero in on hot spots. When I find a hot area at parks or school yards I just enter it into the app and that has increased my finds by allowing me to find that hot area in the middle of a soccer field on later trips. This app compliments my X-Terra 705 and allows me more detecting time at previously hunted areas.

a shame its for the etrac and kinda buggy

No it's for the x-terra 705 and ??? It has the 705 manual in it and others when you first turn it on you chose your detector.
I have not experienced any issues using the app on my phone 4s, no glitches extra but the gps is not real accurate; I compensate for the inaccuracy by manually placing the pin on the map in the correct position and using the photo, this works for me because I only hunt schools and parks.

droid market has an outdated version i guess that only has etrac manual

Oh that sucks apple has a new version and it works great and like I said you chose your detector and it loads the manual and sets up the app for your detector.

I've gone through the first few generations of this app on my iPhone and it looks like they have it perfected now compared to the first few versions.

The only thing that concerns me at this point is how private my finds would be if I marked them. For that reason I really haven't marked anything yet although I would like to. I realize that other users would not be able to see my finds but I'm not sure about the developer.
