Misprint on 9" Concentric 3 khz page? Lists 305/30

They just put all the X-Terra's on there systematically by mistake, right? The 3 khz coil is not compatible with the 305, right?

Anyone ever try it?

Misprint, The 3kHz will NOT work on the X-terra 30, 50 or 305

Think at any point in the future Minelab will make one for the 305 or is this thier way of making you have to upgrade to the 505 or 705? lol

It's the detector, not the coil, that's the problem so no, they won't make a 3kHz coil for the 305 since it's already made. Just don't work on the 305. The coil just have a chip that tells the detector what frequency to use and the detector does all the work. Great trick to increase the coil sale :) (I know that's not the full story, but still)

Thanks for pointing that out Ryan. I'll contact Minelab and have them make a correction to that page. HH Randy
