Lee49 is missing. I think we need to lift them up in prayer, for them and their familys. Lord we ask that you keep our missing forum family safe and healthy. We also ask that you keep them with jobs and help them to make the right decisions in this difficult time. Lord almighty we ask for their return to this forum because we miss our family and are concerned when we do not hear from them. We ask these things in JESUS name amen!!!!!!!!

she has a lot on her plate - could use some prayers for safety for her oldest daughter. I think she said she had some problems getting on line but she is on line to get to Facebook. I'll check with her again soon and see when she will be getting back to us here.

and praying all is well with you and the family...and pet(s). How's the feathered one doing?

the feathered one will turn 32 this October. I think he likes it here. Mom's sick with pulmonary fibrous? she's 84, have went to see her several times. I surprised her last Christmas,,showed up at her door Christmas eve.
My job is sucking the life out of me, but it pays the bills. Got a new PI detector, been out a couple times this year. not much to show for it but a couple gold rings and one platinum ring.
A forum member (Geo) is here this week we plan on hitting the beach Friday,(getting off work early for a change or at least that's the plan). I live on an Island 25 miles long and 20 miles wide
and managed to put 98564 miles on my new truck in the last two years so you see where I spend most my time.

Gods Blessings to all,
Aloha,
Dennis

Aloha Dennis and it is very, very good to hear from you and hope you get to use that new PI detector more and find lots of silver, gold and platinum! How are your sister's twin girls doing? I often think about you and them! :) God Bless! Betty

Aloha Betty,
You are up kinda late, but as you asked I pasted some news from my baby sis. I'm not sure findmall will let me post the link, but if anyone is interested in making a donation PM me and I'll send you the link. I know money is tight for you so I will donate $5.00 for every member of the Christian Metal Detecting Forum that can't afford a donation but takes the time to post a prayer for a cure! (my job sucks but it pays well).

Hi Everyone,
We are walking in the Human Race for our 5th year to raise money to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. You all know that Katie and Megan have to check their blood sugars and take insulin which is a means for them to live, but this doen't eliminate the long term side affects of this illness. We want a CURE!!! Just so that they can have the same chance to live their lives like other children.
Can you spare $10? Help us find a CURE for Type 1 Diabetes! Megan and Katie have had appx 10,950 shots and over 18,250 finger pokes since being diagnosed. I know times are tough, but even a small donation of $10 will help! Please visit our webiste and make a donation!!

Thanks,

Andrea, Tom, Megan and Katie

God Bless All of You,
Dennis

That is a lot of miles on a small island. Gold rings and platinum are good finds in my book Dennis. In fact, I have yet to find a Platinum ring..or maybe I have and didn't know it. It has to be beautiful down there. Hope you guys get out and have a great time. I made it to Hawaii only once in my life. It was a lay over on a military aircraft. They told us to go stand under a palm tree while they refueled. About an hour later we were back in the air again. sure was beautiful there for that hour but didn't get to see much.

That sure is old for a bird...and unfortunately they seem to out live us humans. We are down on our bird population. I think the most we have had is 14 but down to 11 now. We don't plan on any more. With 11 birds, 4 dogs, a cat, the daughter moving back in and her new baby, just can't see adding any more confusion to life...oh yeah mother-in-law in a nearby nursing home. She comes over to visit, does some cleaning to make herself feel helpful, goes back to the nursing home and then we spent a few days trying to find things she put away but not where they go

That was so great of you to visit your Mom on Christmas and surprising her. She raised a good son. Don't be a stranger Dennis. After all, you were here even before I was.

God bless you and the family Dennis and happy detecting

BTW is jelly fish a problem when detecting down there? Just curious.

Laid off from work right now Dennis so unable to help with a donation at this time. There but by the grace of God go I and I am thankful that I do not have diabetes. Praying for all that do, and for those who do but don't know it, that God will provide a cure for this disease.

God's Word says that No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I call this to come to pass with all diabetes. It is a weapon of the devil and the cure will stop this weapon.

God's Word says that with His stripes we were healed and I know that God's Word does not return to Him void and that He will cause it to prosper where He has sent His Word. I thank Jesus for His healing and that through His Word a cure for this disease will be found so the suffering will end for the glory of God.

Thank you Father, thank you Jesus and thank you Holy Spirit in making this prayer be filled for your glory. In Jesus name. Amen.

Hi Dennis, I will be praying for a cure for diabetes and didn't know the twin girls were diagnosed with it! I am so sorry that they have to go through so many shots and blood drawings! I watched my brother-in-law prick his fingers for his blood sugar tests and I grimaced everytime, because I know how sore the fingers from needle pricks get. He has COPD along with being diabetic and has been in and out of the hospitals a lot and has had bouts with pnuemonia too!

Sorry, but I just cannot give anything for the cure of diabetes right now, but hopefully I will be able to do so in the near future! Cliff has hospital and dr bills and may have to help him pay them! He is like me and only has SS Income to live on! I have an IRA, but most of it is owed to credit card companies, who are raising the interest rates and reducing the credit limits, but that's okay, as I've borrowed too much as it is and won't be borrowing any more at least until I quit owing what I do owe now!

Keep the faith and I'm also praying for your mother to be okay in health and in the Lord! God Bless! Betty

P.S. I am usually up late, as I sleep better in the early mornings and don't go to bed or get up like others do! Cliff was needing attended to and that is one reason why I was on the Computer late last night! It is also past 11:00 pm tonight....sooooo guess I am a night owl! I used to work nights from 6:00 pm until 2 or 2:30 am posting costs to the patients' ledgers at St. John's Mercy Hospital and then I posted at night with the Lutheran Church MO-Synod posting Insurance claims until I went full-time on days! Too many years I had to get up in the wee hours of morning and now I am retired and go to bed and get up when I want to!  God Bless! Happy Hunting! Betty

We have the man o war jellyfish here. They can be quite a pain. Fortunately they don't swim faster than me.
