Missing Prospector in Western Australia

C. Nyal de Kaye

New member
It is sad, and also quite disappointing, to report that the search for Michael Graham has been abandoned after two weeks.

His wife has written, "Hi all, just letting you know that we have just been informed that the search will end at midnight tonight (that is Monday night Australian time).

"Thanks once again for all your kind loving warm words and thanks to all those involved in looking for Mick."

Whilst there has been rain in the area it was considered very unlikely that he could have survived due to the harsh conditions and his medical problems.

Survival gear (water, food, medicine etc) packed in bright orange high visibility haversacks have been distributed all over the area and will be monitored regularly. This is the last hope it seems.

It has been a very sad business and tragically not the first, or the last, such incident. In fact it happens every year in the remote regions of Australia.

Thanks to all for their prayerful concern for Mick and Helen.

Let's continue to pray for even a bigger miracle that people may
see what a mighty God we serve. To God be the Glory in Jesus Name AMEN!!!

Thanks for your prayerful concern folks.

The official search has been called off, but some private searching will continue.

If you have never been there it is hard to conceive just how vast the place is, and how isolated and lonely as well.

It just goes on and on forever and all looks much the same.

His wife and sister-in-law have now left the area - it was too much for them.
