Missouri Relics This Week

Hi, All:

Getting my feet wet relic hunting with my 600 Equinox. Hunting a Civil War era Missouri ghost town and camp area. Spent about seven hours on the town's edge where I think camp activity was occupied. The area has been hunted by others, but I was able to save some lead (and an 1946 Wheatie). A few drops and some shot bullets. A dropped .54 cal Minie and a .69 cal. musket ball were the best finds. A couple of shot .54 minies and a shot .44 cal Colt revolver, as well as other small round balls were recovered. No period brass was found, so I'm thinking this was a short term camp. Was fun being able to recover what I was able to recover.

Thanks for looking,
