Managed to get out in this wierd weather we been having around here, yesterday 40 and raining, today 65 with thunder storms off and on.I mentioned some old maps I found at a garage sale well there paying off,Found a nice 44 quarter along with a 45,52 wheaties, the dimes were from the 60's as were the memorial cents, but the nickle is a 1999?? Always interesting the time span between the dates of coins I find in the ground.Ran the LTD with the 11" coil sens 80 disc.6 3h tones Bp mode. The quarter and the wheatys were deep 7-8" tried running De mode but could'nt get a good enough signal, the coins were right at the edge of detection as the numbers were real bouncy. Thanx for looking......hh rick in mi.

Nice hunting. A silver a day keeps the Dr away. I've been sick a lot lately. :detecting: Great job latching onto those old maps. They appear to be paying dividends for you. HH jim tn

Thanx jim was thinking I was the only one playing in the dirt today

No, I played in the dirt earlier this afternoon after a all morning rain. Our ground is finally getting good after our summer months drought. Shortly, momma is going to let me play in the sand over on St Simons Is, Ga. for a few days. Looking forward to that. Once again, good hunt and stay at it. I suspect you and muds days are numbered. HH jim tn

Nice work on a real windy rainy day! :clapping: How much didja give for those maps? Have they paid for themsilves yet? I bet they did!

Hey good luck in the sands of Ga. jim and hope u feel better.Mud I paid 10 bucks for probly 60 maps but only a dozen are useful to me,some have markings of old indian trails and villages, those I will pursue in the spring........hh rick in mi. :wiggle:

Nice job on the finds.
We finally got some rain in the last month, it was so dry here this summer you had to run your f75's in overdrive to get those deeper hits and evan then you struggle.

Coilfisher the machine started bouncing numbers right around the 8" mark on the quarter the pennies around 7. Yes it's been very dry here....
