for those who have homes destroyed, power outages, injureis and deaths! Little Rock got hit also from one, especially in the small town of Cincinnati, Ark. Lots and lots of damages all around me in ST. Louis City, Crestwood and Sunset Hills, South County but Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, all I got was some strong wind and heavy rain but no damages that I know of and I still have power or I wouldn't be posting! ;) Just heard on the news that there was a death in North Rolla from two Mobile Homes being destroyed and 2 deaths in the small town of Lacoma which is South of Rolla! Don't know about any of my children and grandchildren whether they had damages or not, as even Ste. Genevieve and in that area had severe sraight winds or tornadoes!

Thank you for your prayers for those who are suffering and lost loved ones! Sister and Brother Latta called to see if I was okay and they are fine and had been praying hard for everyone...they live in a Mobile Home now and just trusted in the Lord to keep them safe! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hey, Ma! Thankful you are okay! That nasty squall line is heading our way and we'll have to see what happens. Been too warm and winds have been gusty today. Local meteorologists said expect lightning tonight.....

so here I came to see if you was ok! Praise God you are!
Praying for those who had damage or injury.

Thanks everyone for your prayers....so many without power here in the wintertime....was in the 60s today, but if it had not stormed and rained it would have gotten up to the 70s....I sure am glad I have power and heat...brrrrr would be awfully cold without it! Don't know when all the people with power outages will be taken care of.....triple pay most likely for the workers...as it is New Year's Eve and tomorrow is New Year's Day.....but some would probably like to be home and safe inside! May God help them to repair the lines and get the furnaces, lights and stoves going! Amen! Ma Betty

You'll have to forgive me a little Ma. I read the title quickly and thought....how many tornadoes hit "MA"!

I'm glad everything's settled back down. I'll never get used to hearing about tornadoes in Dec. or Jan.. Up here in Nebraska, we usually only see them in spring and summer.

That is okay Neb Trac as it could have been tomatoes but the wrong time of the year! ;) It had been soooo cold and then warmed up too much too quickly and; therefore, tornadoes hit all around in several states.....seemed like they just skipped and hopped here and there and caused lots of damages and even deaths where they did land on the ground or straight winds hit of great strength! I am glad that my home and I were spared! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus! Amen! Ma Betty
