Mobile home on next street over burnt this morning...

Pete in MI

New member
one person was taken out and an ambulance took the person away while firefighters were fighting flames. The trailer is gone now. I think I am the only one to get pics for the local paper and have called them to let them know I have photos if they want them. Please pray for the person/people who lived in that residence. They have no home to return to and this just before Christmas.

they indicated 2 people were taken to the hospital. They didn't seem excited...so guessing they are hurting and not just going to be checked over and released right away.

Its now 11:15 am and the fire department is still there. They have requested 'cameras'. The type they use can determine hot spots where the fire probably started, etc.

On a more positive note....recently a local restaurant decided a new policy was needed...no smoking at all inside the restaurant. This has many people up in arms that they can't smoke there so they won't eat there any more. Kinda stupid logic I guess. Do people go to restaurants to smoke or go there to eat??? Anyway we provided our support to them in a letter to the Editor of the local paper.

Add to their decision to go smoke free, they sent over one of their catering trucks this morning filled with hot food, coffee, etc. to the firemen putting out the blaze to help warm them.

Does this sound like a restaurant that has no heart? I think it shows great pride in its community and support of its community even it the smokers don't think so.

God bless Coyles restaurant and it employees, owners, etc. in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.

Praying, Bro Pete, for those taken to the hospital and may Jesus' healing virtue touch and make them well in the drs' care! Also, praying for the firemen that they will be okay and find out how the fire started and for a place for the ones' owning the trailer to be able to have shelter and/or a home to go to after they are able to do so! I hope they have insurance on the trailer and its contents!

Praying for you and Sherry to be safe in yours' and for her to be able to get to a hospital for the care she needs! Prayers and strength for you, Pete, to be able to continue working and removing the cold, heavy and frozen white flakes! Prayers for the restaurant going to NO SMOKING! The smokers eating there can always go outside and smoke, as they like a cigarette after eating and while drinking coffee....which is a very bad, addicting habit indeed! God is able, so lean on and trust iin Him and His only, begotten Son, Jesus! Amen! God Bless! Sister Betty
