Mr.Bill, Do you make sensitivity modifications for the Sandshark? Maybe nothing can be done because it is just 600pps. "NT"
 
There's not much you can do to the Sandshark because the timing is all PIC controlled. About all you can do is adjust the damping, but I suspect that with PCB coils it's pretty optimal and well-controlled.
What I want to do is try a standard coil, I suspect that the printed coil is limiting performance. The SMPI front-end is almost identical, so I would like to give that coil a try. However, I need the connector Tesoro uses for the SS, and so far I have not been able to determine where to get them.

On their first PI, the Piranha, it used the same coils. That used a Surfmaster PI circuit that was modified a bit. I remember using a Surfmaster PI coil, and changing out the damping resistor.
If I remember correctly there was a problem with the coils with it

I tried asking one of the Giffords, no reply... perhaps I should try again.
