General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Here is a modified Minelab Explorer XS modified by the legendary Rob Laws. $475.00 shipped. This modification has reduced the weight of the stock set up by 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. A total of 3 coils are included. Mounted on a different "S" rod configuration with a 3400mah 12 voly li-po battery. All functions work and also comes with the manual, exploring the explorer video and a rain cover. You must use headphones with this set up. The 12 volt 3400mah battery will last a week on 1 charge. Yeah the control housing was cut off of the stock shaft and epoxied to the new one. The wires for the headphone jack was routed in toward the rear of the arm cuff and is now regular 1/4" so you can use other headphones with a 1/4" plug like greyghost. The battery is velcroed to the bottom of the arm cuff so it can be removed and charged without having the whole detector near the outlet. Also the battery has a on off switch. You must use headphones with this minelab. The back light still works and the screen is still in good shape. Forgot to say it comes with a rain cover as well. Anyways these are what I can remember for now and that probably covers everything as well. Tim
