Monday and Tuesday park hunts

Monday at my local park is the top bunch with the majority of it coming out out of a coin spill area? all of them within a 5' radius beside a chainlink fence. My Sniper pays off again!:clapping: The second pic is the bicentennial penny found in the bunch. The bottom bunch is a couple hours at a newer park about 10 minutes away. I had cleaned up the playground last year and a friend keeps telling me there's nothing left but this is what the Sniper found. The Loonie (dollar coin for the U.S. guys) was down 6" and the newer dimes/nickels are coming up iron on the 250. My new plan of attack is digging any iron that shows at 2".

That sniper coil is a real dandy! Mine has paid for itself many times over. It's amazing that those centennial coins are still around. Funny thing......I turned in a bunch of cans at the bottle depot yesterday, and in my change was a 1967 silver fishy dime.

Never found a fishy but a couple months ago I got a couple Mountie quarters. Probably a piggy bank clean out.

Two good finds for both of you. When I first looked at the photo, I thought you had found a flying eagle cent until I took another look. The old eyeballs play tricks on us sometimes.
