MONSTER SILVER...found the BIG SISTER to the two Barber Halves from last week:yikes:

it is hard to believe silver dollars get lost, they are sooooo big and bright, the grass must have been awful tall back then...lol
 
all in a 15 x 20 foot area or so. How the heck could they all lay there for over 100 years with the 100's of people who have pounded this place since the 80's??
I believe the interference kept them there all these years and for some reason...the good Lord wanted them to end up in my pouch:angel:
 
People with detectors not quite up to date as yours kept passing over them because the rusty iron nails were nulling out the Silver, but don't know about the Barber Halves, unless you could get better reception detecting with your detector than anyone else could! Some people won't hunt where there is a lot of chatter and noise interfering, but I've found silver in areas like that and trashy areas....just not as Big and Nice as what you've found! God is goooood, indeed!!! :angel:
