This is some of the native copper that I have found. There is some silver in there also. The piece that I'm holding weights 10lbs.

Lots of copper rocks. Good finds .
Do you sell it to jewelry maker who in turn sell in craft sales ?

Yes I do, I have made some pretty good money with my copper sales.

I got out Sat and found a 14k ring - waters edge BHID. I need to get out in the woods and start looking for some of that cool copper!!! Very Nice!!!!

I sell it for profit

Do you live in the great lakes states anywhere? Please tell the folks where you found the copper as it is found in several areas of the country (just so you won't waste some of the peoples time looking for copper when it isn't in their area).

If you want to find copper ore or other metalic minerals check out a website called Mindat.com and you may find what metals occur in your area.

Good luck

Don

I haven't had it checked out at the gift shop but I'll guess around $20-$25. I sold a peice last year that was 45#'s and got $200 for it.
