Dan and I hit some fields that had a school in one and a couple saw mills in the other. Luck was with us. Dan ended up with a couple IH, a ring and a nice Barber dime. Pictured is my take, The find of the day seated dime, pretty well chewed IHs(no S on the 190:geek: and a v-nickel. That fat IH has an interesting "7" counterstamp. We had great fun with a few goodies among the trash.
The farmer actually let us hunt freshly planted fields. He said, just walk in the rows. What a guy.

Or it should be... A farmer using anhydrous ammonia and fertilizer on his fields. Doesn't he/she know what it does to nice old copper coinage? Where is PETA (people for the ethical treatment of antiques) when you need them <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Nice finds...
