More info on the ring that I just found earlier this week,,,

Did a search on the web and found the Herff Jones website, Looked over the rings and I see a very similar design there. Found that the nearest HJ dealer is in Mt. Pleasant (about an hours drive south of us). I sent him an email with data and the pics. Hopefully he can fill us in on the ring and its meaning, what school it represents and maybe even its owner. Added to that excitement is the fact I will be in Mt. Pleasant later today to do some shopping so will take the ring with me. If I find their shop and they are open Sherry and I will stop in to get any info first hand.

Just thought I would let you know about this. It is an amazing ring...definitely quality. Hope to have some more info soon.

Would be wonderful if I could submit this as a story article to a detecting magazine and have it have a very happy ending with the owner being pictured with her ring back on her finger.

or business in town. Guess from what I read he does like a catalog sales thing from home and via the internet. I did send an email to him with the pics this morning. Didn't get anything back from him yet.

I read somewhere that someone else had found a ring and wanted to return it and his wife said to forget it...they already put it behind them. Gonna wait til next week to see if I hear back from the guy that works for the ring company. Only other thing would be to post a Found article in the newspaper which few pwople read anyway. Not feeling too excited about this as I was this morning when I found a local dealer for that ring company. Will have to wait and see.

we have her name, high school and city. I contacted the school and because of privacy couldn't release any info. Even a local TV station in the area, Dayton, Ohio ran a story. There's a woman of the correct age and name living in that area but we would have to pay to get the telephone number. Can't afford that.
It can all work out hang in there.
