More micro gold jewelry

Yellow gold with diamond chips. Didn't see the little diamond chips until I cleaned it up a bit. Must have been part of a much larger bling. The back is caged to let the light through the diamonds. The Sun Ray X-5 coils first gold find.

Actually I just figured this thing out. It is an Earring. The post is bent over and broke off. The cage on the back is partially crushed by the remnants of the post. Five of the diamonds are intact if they are diamonds. Thanks to the jewelers loupe I bought last weekend I can now see detail. This is actually .925 silver. It rang a little lower on the smartfind so thought it was gold. Maybe plated? Oh well, most likely junk.

Thanks Mud! Yes I am having fun with this little Gem of a coil. It is amazing how much more there is in the ground in close proximity that the larger coils simply can't sort out.
